We feel that foster care is a full-time job and that, as a carer, you’re a professional – so we always treat our carers as such. All of our registered foster parents will receive a weekly fostering benefit. Not only is this there to help cover to costs of caring for your fostering placement, but also as a reward for working hard and dedicating yourself to the care of children and young people that, for whatever reason have had to leave their families.
If you decided to become a foster carer with Excel Fostering, we will also provide you with carer skills training that will aid you in providing the child or young person in your care with a positive and productive foster care experience – as well as aid in your continued professional development. Our team of social workers and support staff will also be on hand 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year (yes, even Christmas!) to advise and guide you throughout your new profession – as a foster parent with Excel Fostering, you’ll never be working alone.
